couldn't care less.
a little corner of the internet from Ferhat Remory
scroll01 / Ferhat
I'm Ferhat.
Belgian. Turkish. Father. Builder. Entrepreneur. Muslim. Developer. Business developer.
And probably twenty other things, depending on which period of my life you pick.
I'm not that good
at explaining myself
in one sentence.
So I'm not going to try here either.2006 / Building
I started building websites.
I was still young when I started building on the internet.
No education.
No roadmap.
No YouTube video on "how to become a developer in 30 days."
Just trying.
Tweaking code.
Breaking the website.
Starting over.
From development I moved into design.
From design into SEO.
From SEO into marketing.
From marketing into sales.
From sales back into building.
Today I can think up an idea, design it, build it, and sell it.
This isn't about my résumé, though.
It's about everything that happened between those lines.
02 / Things that happened
Things that happened
Helped companies.
Started projects.
Stopped projects.
Made money.
Lost money.
Made the wrong choices.
Made good choices other people thought were wrong.
And somewhere along the way I stopped explaining my life to everyone.
Couldn't care less.
Not because nothing interests me.
Quite the opposite.
Because I finally know what does.
03 / What actually matters
I have two daughters.
And the older I get, the less a career alone impresses me.
A job title is nice.
A nice car too.
A good salary too.
But in the end I'm mostly stuck on one question:
What life am I actually building?
Not for LinkedIn.
Not for my employer.
Not for people who, from a distance, think they know what I should do.
For myself.
For my kids.
For my future.
04 / Direction
Three years ago everything changed.
I chose Islam.
Not a decision that came out of nowhere.
It was searching.
Doubting.
Reading.
Thinking.
Reconsidering things I'd been sure of for years.
And finally admitting my life needed to go a different direction.
Since then, not everything suddenly got easier.
Maybe the opposite, actually.
Because once you know more clearly who you want to be, you start seeing how much in your life doesn't fit that anymore.
Work.
Money.
Environment.
Habits.
Ambition.
Ego.
Other people's expectations.
I'm still working on that.
Probably for the rest of my life.
05 / November 2026
And now I'm leaving.
To Turkey.
Not on holiday.
Not for a month.
I'm leaving.
Belgium is the country where I was born.
Where my kids were born.
Where I worked.
Where I made mistakes.
Where I built almost my entire life.
And yet I've felt for a while that I want to start over somewhere else.
Turkey.
Maybe it'll be amazing.
Maybe it'll be harder than I expect.
Probably both.
But I don't want to think, twenty years from now:
Wish I'd done it back then.
So I'm doing it.
What other people think about that?
you know the answer by now.couldn't care less.
06 / Plans
I don't have a five-year plan.
I used to want a plan for everything.
Reach this.
Have that by this age.
Earn this much.
Build this company.
Get that role.
Today I still have ambition.
Plenty of it, actually.
But I try to hold on less tightly to exactly how it all has to go.
I want to
build.
start things.
give my kids something.
deepen my faith.
create freedom.
try new things.
make mistakes.
start over.
And especially:
live a life that actually feels like my life.

So why does this site exist?
This website doesn't have a clear niche.
That's on purpose.
Tomorrow there might be something here about entrepreneurship.
The day after about fatherhood.
After that about coding.
About Turkey.
About faith.
About discipline.
About money.
About something that's bothering me enormously.
About a project I suddenly started at three in the morning.
Maybe I'll write three times a week.
Maybe not for three months.
I don't have a content calendar.
No SEO strategy.
No personal-branding guru telling me I need to post consistently.
Couldn't care less.
This is just my little corner of the internet.
Ferhat.
Now
Now, and what's next

Leaving Belgium behind.
